I mean, if ye don't remember much it's probably fer the best." Though it would explain her fear of enclosed spaces and really not liking fire all that much. "How are ye doing on the Herbology homework?" knowing what the assignment was, and having to use fire or even get burned if she wasn't careful, maybe she'd like some help with it.

A smile at her words about her brother making things better. Another reason he really wished he'd had a sibling! "It was at first, but I had te get over me fear or I'd never haf seen the awesome view, nor learned so much about the canyon and the desert around it." True, the falling wasn't the best thing to have happen at those heights. "Well there were cliffs and stuff, but ye mostly stuck te trails, but those hurt te if ye slid down accidentally. Ye jus' need te learn te use foot and hand holds and finding good ones as well."
"I think so. For what good can come from remembering such tragedy?" Amelia questioned, not really noticing how Isaac had pulled a face. She was grateful that she remembered little of her childhood, although the scars on her torso would be a constant reminder. Still not remembering made it hurt less. "And for Herbology, well I've already finished it. My plan was to get it done as soon as I could. I just hope that we don't have to go in to see the plants again anytime soon," she revealed. Maybe she should have waited until they were both free and seen if Isaac had wanted to go with her. But he hadn't been there when she'd read the homework so...

"Well it's good that you stuck to the trails. Although I've heard of people doing that and still getting hurt, or dying due to the heat and a lack of water. Although I did hear as well that there's a glass platform that you can go to at the top and look down on the canyon," which would be more Amelia's style. She wasn't much into rock climbing. Not because she couldn't do it, but because she was so short it made reaching some of the handholds and footholds a bit too difficult.
