"If you'll excuse me, I have a few things to take care of." Althea extracted herself gracefully. It wasn't the quiet sanctuary it had been a few minutes ago.

She gave Eddie a quick smile, and Lafay a polite, nod, then left the room.

He didn't expect Althea to leave. It wasn't like he was going to be there for much longer. Oh well.
