Hmm maybe he should try something different. Gideon had flown...turned...braked....turned again in a circuit....what now? Vindictus hadn't called for their attention yet so the Gryffindor wasn't quick to head back down just yet. Deciding to test his braking abilities once more, the 5th year pushed himself into a shallow dive, the boy careful not to make it too steep to avoid risks of dangers. The action did cause him to speed up a little and after he moved towards an altitude half-way down from where he had previously been, he pulled up once more bringing himself and the broom to a gradually stop as the action and the braking charm did what it needed once more.
Now that was fun, he mused to himself with a chuckle as he breathed a little heavy resting in a almost-hover.
