It was her last two jumps, and she was a bit relieved. As fun as it was, it was hard work for her legs, jumping and trying to balance. But the good thing was she hadn't fallen off the lily pads.

She gathered her energy and leaped onto lily pad number 25. Her legs really did slip out from under her this time, and she landed on her back side. It didn't hurt but she felt rather embarrassed. She got up, with more difficult than leaping, and calmed herself. Final leap before finishing, she thought. She looked around and jumped, only half thinking, onto lily pad number 30, and in the same stride, leaped onto the ground. It was solid and her legs buckled underneath her. She didn't fall though. She had finished, without falling into the lake! She was so happy.
