Aurora glanced at her picture of Sebastian. Sure, she had loads of him, but this one was so cute. His little blue eyes staring at the camera amidst all that white fur as he tried to bat the lens with his paw. She didn't want to ruin it... Instead, she picked up a piece of paper and folded it to the size of the picture, then she placed it into the middle of the other paper.
Okay... this could be... interesting. Aurora held her wand above the paper, drew a square and muttered "Statua Habitum."
Nothing. Why did everyone else seem to get something..? So not fair. She tried again, this time she took a deep breath before attempting the spell. Okay, focus, square, "Statua Habitum."
Nothing... oh, wait! The edges of her paper seemed to have hardened slightly... this was progress! She tapped the paper and said, "Reverto." Always good to start from scratch, right? Okay, drawing a square aaaand "Statua Habitum." Oh! That looked almost like a frame! It had a wooden textured look to it, and had thickened slightly... but it was still pretty flimsy and there was nothing covering the folded paper in the middle. Okay, start again. "Reverto." "Statua Habitum." Square. Aaaand... oh. Nothing. What? Why didn't it work? Maybe she had lost concentration in the expectation that it would work... She practiced the spell another three or four times with varying levels of success, getting more frustrated every time. Then she decided to take a deep breath before carrying on, it was almost impossible for her to get a spell right if she was stressed. Breathe in... aaand out... much better.
She swapped the folded paper for the picture of Sebastian and, for the last time Aurora concentrated on a frame, drew a square with her wand and... "Statua Habitum!" Aha! A FRAME! It wasn't the one she had been focusing on, this one was much much simpler, but she had done it! She had actually managed to transfigure paper into a picture frame!!!
