This was it, El had made it on to the last lilypad successfully and now she just needed to jump on to the shore. She was nervous...well, that was an understatement. She knew she wasn't really competing against anyone but she wanted to put on a good show. She was a competitor and liked to complete tasks that were given to her. With her mind focused and her eyes trained on land, Ella backed up a bit and made a jump for it. She landed on the ground, hard. "Ouch!" That's what I get for trying to impress people. While she rubbed her bottom she turned around to see how far she had come. She was proud and would have been smiling if her bum didn't feel like it was going to fall off.
