Ella walked back to her seat. She was seriously impressed with this magic and hoped that she could manage to make her frame grow around her picture like the professor had. She made sure her white paper was flat on her desk and placed her picture in the center. She smoothed her hands over everything just to be sure. She couldn't help but smile when she looked down and saw her family looking back at her. She missed them and she was sure they would be just as amazed as she was at how cool this magic was.

Ella gripped her wand firmly and made sure it was touching the paper. She tried moving her wand and the entire paper slid. Well, that wasn't supposed to happen...I must have been pressing too hard. Ella replaced the paper and picture and again touched the tip of her wand to the paper's surface, this time more gently. She slowly traced a square while saying, "Statua Habitum." She looked down and her mouth dropped open. Her paper was changing in front of her eyes. In its place, a beautiful wooden frame began to form and as it inched closer to her picture, glass emerged. I did it. I can't believe I actually did it! She was beaming. She really couldn't help it and she looked around the room to see what progress her classmates had made.
