Looking up briefly... the fire seed still clasped between her fingers, Seren gave the other Hufflepuff lad a nod.
"It looks fine dear, just continue," she said.
At least his wasn't swimming in a pot of dirty water.

Walking back to the front, Lewis grabbed another packet of soil and quickly made his way back to his desk. He then poured about half of the content into his new pot and...waited for Professor Bentley to return (?).
He was going to be the last person in here, great. 
She'd gone on to siphon some water off the seeds surface using hot air... hopefully that would do that trick. But really what it needed was a nice cozy, warm bed of soil.
Alas, the Badger was getting aorund to it, dragging his feet a little. Once the soil was in the pot, they waited.
"It's alright, you'll get the hang of it.. it just takes a little practice, that's all."
As soon as Seren could feel the warmth radiating from the soils surface by lowering one of her gloved hands toward it and slipping out a finger, she dropped the seed on top.
"There, now simply cover him with soil and that'll be you done for today."
