Medea had been on a long holiday – after the whole Imperius curse thing she needed a vacation. She came back feeling renewed. The straightforward woman made her way back to her desk; this had been the first time Ms Ward had ever taken a vacation in her professional career. Part of her felt guilty for taking time off, but honestly she had been in no position to come to work. The woman needed some time to rest and get over the whole ordeal.
Looking over her desk it seemed as though everything was in order. Settling into her chair she got started straight away on paperwork. She had received word on her vacation that Borr was out and Mr Greingoth was in. This left the Senior Undersecretary position open, Medea was less than thrilled that first off she didn’t get the position and second that she had to learn how to deal with a new person. Hopefully the person would be like her and Mr. Greingoth – all business.
She partially blamed not getting the job on the holiday she took and it couldn’t be that she didn’t apply. Another reason she never took time off! She took out her quill and started signing forms sorting the stacks left on her desk. |
