A look at his watch told him that he was running just a teensy bit late. But that was usual for Hunter. He really needed to work on his punctuality. And as he approached the meeting room, he could tell that Ethan was already there since the door was open.
Stepping inside, Hunter stood just in the doorway, watching the other man prowl around the room, checking everything out. "I did the same thing myself when I was given the Supervisor's position." He chuckled softly as he pushed off the wall and moved over to Ethan and held out his hand. "Congratulations on your promotion."
Ethan looked up at the sound of a voice and promptly smiled. Hunter was a bit late, but that much didn't matter. It wasn't like they really had any other meetings that day. At least, Ethan didn't, but he couldn't really speak for Hunter. Ethan was sure, though, that if Hunter had any other meetings he would probably let him know.
But up to this point, it was Ethan's turn to realize what he had gotten himself into. "Thank you," he said as he shook his fellow Supervisor's hand firmly. How to make a good first impression: a good handshake. Deciding to start the conversation off on his own terms, Ethan admitted, "I'm pretty nervous about it, actually." And he was. He had accepted a double post as Supervisor and Carpenter due to a shortage of Maintenance employees after the whole Cult thing...
