Gideon hadn't been sure what to expect from the flyer hanging up in the common room. Founder's Fandango could have meant anything by way of celebration. However upon heading down to the designated area of the school grounds, the Gryffindor was pleasantly surprised by what he saw. Taking a quick glance around at the activities, he found himself by the lake and the giant lilypads that reminded him of those used a few terms back for the prefect's obstacle course. Who knows they probably were the same or similiar.
"Good day, Professor Bentley," he greeted with a smile as he spotted his head of house perched in a raised chair to keep an eye on things. Switching his attention to the posted information, Gideon was careful to read the rules and what was expected of them before glancing over at the gathering of lilypads.
Dare he try it?
The 5th year look a look at the four nearest the shore that was the starting point to try and decipher where to begin. Finally deciding on lilypad number 2, Gideon stood on the ground at the edge in front of it before taking a leap onto the pad in question. It shifted a bit with his movement and he stumbled to compensate but he was safe and dry. His options now limited down to 3, the boy took a careful half-step/half-jump onto lilypad number 6.
