There's some good in this world and it's worth fighting for| LOTR|Whovian|Sherlock Fan

Alyssa decided that she would try this just for fun. It was like muggle shuffleboard that she had played back home. So she grabbed one of the broom shaped paddles and studied the court and the scoring area at the other end from where she was standing. She tilted her head to study the various angles and the locations of the four scoring zones. She made it a point to make sure that she didn't push her puck too hard because she didn't want it to end up at the rearend and largest zone because she would not gain any points but in fact lose points.

Picking up the first puck, Alyssa rubbed the base of the puck against her jeans to clean it of any dirt that would cause it to move away from the direction she wanted it to go. She then placed the puck behind the line in front of her, and placed the broom shaped paddle behind it. She bent down to study the angle of where she would be pushing the puck before she straightened up.

Keeping an eye on the zone she was targetting for, Alyssa stood behind the the broom shaped and pushes the puck with it giving just enough force for it to slide across the board and entire the scoring zone. "Come on, come on you can do it," she yelled out to the puck as she saw it entering the smallest triagular zone. As she saw it enter, she yelled, "Stop, stop, stop."

On cue, the puck slid to a stop just inside the center of the smallest triangle. Now all she had to hope was that the puck wasn't touching the sides of the triangle. She looked to the judges to see what they had determined. While she waited she got ready to position her second puck.
