Violet returned to her pot with the watering can in hand. She placed it on the table and took oiut her wand. The augamenti spell can't be that hard can it? She pointed her wand to the watering can and said clearly and loudly,
"Aguamenti!" Instantly a fountain of water spurted from the end of her wand. She filled the can up and said
"Chaudensis," and waited until bubbles formed in the water showing that it was boiled up good.
How much water was enough? She checked her to-do list again and saw that you only needed to pour a tiny bit of water until the soil was moist. Okay. That seemed easy enough to do. She picked up the watering can, which was quite heavy and sloshed some on the floor which had almost burned her skin and sprinkled it slowly into the soil. Then Violet placed her finger on the soil to test how wet it was and was glad to feel that it wasn't flooding the soil.
Violet was glad her mother had taught her a bit of gardening and crossed off the last thing off her to do list. She raised her hand and waited for the professor to check on her pot just in case she had really done something wrong.
