Professor Roslund held up a hand to stop Lewis from apologizing."Don't apologize Lewis. You weren't to know that the school has owls. Its something which should have been mentioned on your acceptance letter, but clearly wasn't." He said slightly irritated, he paused to sip on his tea for a moment.

Looking up at Lewis he said meaning every word. "You were not bothering me at all on the contrary you did the right thing coming to a professor to get help with your problem. Don't beat yourself up about it Lewis. You can bother me any time you want, and about anything." Professor Roslund reassured the young boy. It would do him no good to dwell over things which he couldn't know beforehand.

Scanning the room for dust and forgotten belongings, finding none he strolled over to the door. Opening it he found himself face to face with Gideon Gert a lion house member. "Hi, did you wish to see me? Come in, come in. I was just about to brew myself some hot chocolate, would you like some?"

Professor Roslund called as he headed back in to put his cauldron on the fire. He expected Gideon to come in and close the door after him. The Astronomy Tower got awfully chilly in the evenings.
