Yikes! Had he struck a sore spot? Deciding to drop the subject all together he focused on DADA which Althea had run gallantly according to the school grapevine. "I bet running charms class is enough since it’s a quite popular amongst the student’s, yes? But you did wonderful teaching DADA I’ve heard. The student’s liked your class on spirit guardians at least those who I’ve spoken to."

"Weddings are nice." he commented "Was it a classic white church wedding?” Edvard enquired. Althea must have done something else too besides organizing a wedding. Remembering the eggs from last year he asked "Will your charm student’s be caring for eggs this term too?"

She ignored them at first, and made her way with her teacup (and saucer) to the teapot brewing water. She poured the bubbling water over her own mix of herbs in her cup and closed her eyes, taking in the scent as it steeped in front of her. She took a sip.
Mmmmm.... Better.
She opened her eyes and looked at the other two professors. "Schirmer, Roslund."
Ok, formalities were over... she'd greeted them... now back to the tea. She sipped again.

The staff room door opened and closed with a small thub and some moments later they were joined by Hecate Lafay the potions mistress. Edvard still wasn’t quite comfortable around her. Flashing her a welcoming smile he greeted her politely in return "Lafay."

As the dark haired potions madam sat down to drink her tea Edvard asked "Did you have a nice summer holiday Hecate?" taking up his own cup he started to sip on his still hot tea.

"I was passing by the room when I smelt something...." The smell was actually stronger in here. Again not bad just...different. Was that normal?

Just after Hecate arrived Dash filed in too. Flashing him a smile he said "Dash."

"Going to join us for some tea and conversation?” Edvard asked his friend knowing too well that Althea and Dash didn’t mesh well together. At Dash’s comment about a smell he asking raising a brow curiously "What kind of smell a pungent odour or something delicious?" Sniffing the air he couldn't smell anything.
