Okay, so basically her fear from seeing such a huge creature had vanished when the Giant Squid had literally started smacking their Professors. Beezus nipped her bit hardly to prevent her from squeaking merrily. Really, Professor Scabior's face cannot be painted anymore, it was clear that he was annoyed. But Professor Williamson on the other hand had been laughing, quite the opposite.

And Mr. Henry didn't settle for the Professor's alone because he smacked! Daichi and that Nathan guy too. Beatrice just can't help but let out a defeated chuckle. She had discovered so much about the Squid from Professor Scabior's looooooong speech.. She tried to store each information in her head but seeing as there was just too much, she just preferred to enjoy as the discussion went on.

When the Giant Squid bid farewell to the Professors, she smiled and said goodbye to him too. "See you around the lake Mr. Henry!"

Professor Williamson proceeded on his discussion about Grindylows. A Ravenclaw had given an answer to his previous question and he gave her two points for that. HOOORAAY!! Good thing the new eaglet was trying to regain the points she lost earlier last week.. Hmmm..

Another charm? No, it was a jinx. What exactly was a jinx anyway? Turning to the girl beside her, which happened to be Alyssa Potter-yeah, she knew the girl. Quidditch history last term-she asked, "Alyssa. What's err--the difference between a jinx and a charm?" Well..because she was curious.

Then..the Professor for the Care of Magical Creatures taught them the incantation for the new jinx they were to use against the Grindylows, the Revulsion jinx with the wand movement of a sharp jab. "Relashio..Relashio.." she followed after his lead. "Err---relashiyo?" She frowned. "No, what was it again?" Hah. She was really hopeless when memorizing incantations!

But before she even had the chance to practice the incantation more, Professor Williamson suddenly brought sacks. Saying that they were to change into swimsuits.

SWIMSUITS? No way! There were going swimming in the lake? And what? Use that jinx against Grindylows?

Beatrice inhaled sharply. This was some activity. Of course she was scared, but she somehow also felt excited so she headed to the right sack and pulled out a swimsuit for her.

Frown. Was that really a swimsuit? But why were the Professors swimsuits look a bit...decent? She sighed as she walked back to where she was standing a while ago. She wasn't going to change yet. She'll wait for the others to do so.

Then..hearing the exchange of answers and question between the CoMC Professor and the Ravenclaw Prefect, she also decided to ask. "So..we really are going underwater Professor?" That was pretty obvious, she just wanted to confirm. "And--are we errr--going to be working alone?" She frowned and shook her head. "No, let me rephrase that. Are we.." she was pertaining to them students. "going to perform the jinx on a grindylow alone? Like a one on one duel against the creature?" If so, they'd have a grindylow as a partner, how wicked is that?
