Ooooh…they’re finally going to plant the seeds! Victoria, who has never see a full grown Fire Seed Plant, copied down the instructions with interested after reading it through carefully once.
Quote:
1. Charm pot to heat itself.
2. Fill half of pot up with soil and let it rest for several minutes to warm up.
3. Carefully take a single fire seed with dragon hide gloves and place on top of the soil.
4. Cover fire seed with soil, so that pot is filled. Pat the soil down a little (not too much, you don't want to suffocate it).
5. Water the fire seed with boiling water, without drowning it.
Victoria surveyed the instructions oddly. She had never seen any other plants being potted like this one. The most interesting step was to boil the fire seed…or putting it in boiling water…whichever.
So there’s a spell for this also? What in the world is the Chaudensis Charm? If it’s a Herbology term, then it’s no wonder why Victoria had not heard of it. She followed the reciting with the rest of the class.
