Sierra looked down at her wand for a little longer. The positioning of her wrist was still awkward for her, but she could always practice the movements again sometime later. Right now, before the lesson moved on, Sierra wanted to get a feel for the incantation, too. So she pushed her wand back into its holster, just to make extra sure she didn't accidentally cast, and then opened her mouth--"Pre-hen-so!" she said.

Luckily, the sounds came quite naturally out of her mouth, so now all she had to do was blend them together. "Prehenso!" she said again. "Prehenso!" Well, that hadn't been so hard. Deciding that she needed more practice with the movements than she did the incantation, Sierra flicked her wand out once again. She turned back to her textbook and began rereading the part that showed how to do a good twist and tap.
