Alex chuckled. "Well, she'll be here soon enough. My niece and nephew will be here in a few years too," he added with a bit of a shrug. They grew up so fast! Then again, Anna was so much older than him, maybe it had seemed like only the blink of an eye but felt a lotttt longer to the parents that had to actually watch over them.

Alex wasn't always sure what to talk about with people from other houses...it was easier to talk to the Huffies since he got to be in the common room and observe the drama and all that stuff, whereas he had no idea what went on in the other houses. "Bet it's nice to get back to the common room though, yeah?" he said with a chuckle. He knew his bed HERE was much more comfortable than his bed at home. He couldn't sleep well on the pillows at home. Not at all.
