"Well...he does have a scar above his eye," she shrugged. Not the most creative name. Something like Taka could have been a bit more appealing and unpredictable. "Makes you wonder how he got it though. I mean, it brings so much more attention to the scar since it is his name too. Do you suppose it came from a fight with Mufasa? Could be reason why he dislikes him so...or...that baby Simba got his claws out when the mandrill shook that staff over him. Maybe he did it?" Kurumi thought that the black mane and bony body made him look more like the villian. He stood out too much and had tried to eat two perfectly innocent creatures within two minutes of each other.
Kurumi popped the combination of mint and popcorn into her mouth and chewed as the song came to a close...with the bird being sat on. Poor guy, couldn't catch a break could he? And this was so not going to end well. They were going to a graveyard after scary black mane lion and tricked Simba. Kurumi hugged her pillow tightly too her chest. "What do you mean? There are special places called studios where people draw pictures that make up the animaion and then another place where voices are recorded. And then, they put them together."
Kurumi turned her head back to the screen and sighed.
Kurumi smacked her forehead. He was such a Gryffindor. "Hey, Selina, you get the feeling that we are watching a movie about...our house? Besides the obvious thing about most of the characters all being lions that is."
Selina was now fully engrossed in the moving picture film thing. First of all she had food that she could continually shovel in her mouth, which kept her occupied enough. Then there were the bright colors and the animals singing and talking. She wondered if Muggle animals really talked like this or if it was just something made for the movie. It was probably for the movie but it would be bloody amazing if it was real. Besides, she really had quite a fondness for Simba and his band of crazy animals friends and even the enemies.
Her blues eyes shifted slightly to Kurumi so she could still watch the film and see her friend. She pondered her question for a moment and then replied,
"Well typically in prides there is only one male. The others, when they get old enough, are shuffled out of the pack. Maybe that was Scar's battle wound from being ushered from the pride? Then again Mufasa I don't think would do that. He's too awesome. That and his voice makes me want to curl up in a ball and nap." It was just the most relaxing and wonderful thing in the world. Very authoritative... kind of like Tate.
O______________o
Just then she heard a cackling come from the rocks. Selina jumped in her seat and folded her legs up on her seat. They had to get out of there. SIMBA WAS GOING TO GET HURT. She could feel her pulse fasten. Honestly when Kurumi started to talk Selina completely and utterly tuned her out. SIMBA WAS IN TROUBLE.
When she finally tuned back into Kurumi her friend was talking about Gryffindor. Selina mulled it over for a bit and replied,
"Yeah, kind of. Of course, none of these characters remotely remind me of you and I. Are we just not in this movie?"
