Alyssa walked into the sanctuary. She knew that there were many magical creatures living here, but she knew that many of them were hiding underground or in the trees. She would have loved to work with the Hippogriffs today but until she was given permission by the Professor to do so, she would have to steer clear of them for now. But there was still plenty of other creatures to take care off and definitely a lot of cleaning up to do, Alyssa could tell making sure that she didn't step on any of the steamy piles that littered the grounds.

'Okay I guess somebody has to pick these up. It ain't going to disappear anytime soon.'Alyssa thought to herself. She was just glad that she had put on her oldest pair of shoes and clothes because they were definitely going to be thrown away after she was done working here. So putting on her dragon hide gloves, she went over to the shed where the tools were kept and brought out a shovel and a wheelbarrow. 'Thank goodness I've helped picked up poop back at Grandpa's ranch, so this is not going to be as bad as it looks....I hope.'Alyssa thought to herself.

She started shoveling up the steaming piles of poop and placed them in the wheelbarrow, making very sure that she didn't let it drip all over herself. Once she had cleaned up one area, she placed the shovel into the wheelbarrow, picked up it's handles and pushed it to the next area. After an hour of back breaking shoveling and pushing, Alyssa pushed the full wheelbarrow to the corner of the sanctuary where the rest of the compost pile lay, lifted up the handles and tilted the contents onto the pile. 'Whew! I better make sure that the first thing I do when I get back to the castle is take a shower and wash my shoes and clothes.' Alyssa thought to herself, lifting her arm to smell herself and laughing when she took a whiff of what she smelled like. She returned the shovel and wheelbarrow back into the shed but not before cleaning both of them up using the "Scourgify" spell and placed them back in the shed.

"Well since I'm already dirty, I might as well change the water in the water troughs."Alyssa told herself. So she walked over to the water troughs, removed the leaves and dirt from the water, and taking out her wand pointed it in the troughs and said "Tergeo" to empty the troughs of the dirty water and then "Scourgify" to clean them out. Once that was done, she pointed her wand back into the troughs and said. "Aguamenti" filling the troughs back with clean water.

'Well that's it for today. Time for a shower, stinky Lyssie. 'Alyssa told herself looking down at her clothes one more time. Before she left, she called out to the creatures. "I'll see you guys tomorrow." Then Alyssa left the Sanctuary and headed back for the castle.
