Eino made some quick attempts to take notes as Professor Scabior spoke, accidentally poking several holes through his parchment and nearly staining his pants with ink. Every time a new hole was poked, Eino startled. No matter how many he had already made, it always startled him, mostly because he quickly tried to recover to prevent ink stains. When Professor Scabior posed a question, Eino pondered before raising his hand and speaking. "Well, Hogwarts isn't entirely inaccessible to Muggles, since we do have a keep-away sign to prevent them from venturing further. It could be that the Black Lake receives its name due to how dark it is, perhaps as a result of a charm, to prevents muggles from seeing any magical creatures, such as merpeople, grindylows, and the giant squid, should they come just a little too close." Eino said very matter-of-factly, looking from the professor to the lake, then back at Professor Scabior. Maybe as a precaution, or maybe it was just... very dirty?
