The darkness began to intensify as they made their way deeper, but then soon began to glow a warm redish-orange.
After walking some way down a path, with pots and flowerbeds of plants skirting the area with the occasional rustling of leaves, Seren came to a halt. The strange glow seemed to be coming from a small, old, leafless looking tree. At the base of the tree a few low flames can be seen flickering to indicate a burning.

"Can anybody identify this particular plant?" she asked. "Simply name it, I don't need to know its entire history."

YES! His answer had been correct. Go him!

Smiling to himself, Lewis looked up in surprise when Professor Bentley told them to follow her someplace else. Why would he touch anything unless asked to? And of course they would be trying not to bump into each other. Obviously. Not that her saying it would prevent them from accidentally bumping into each other.

The fact that the farther they walked the darker it got was a little unsettling and Lewis started kneading his gloved hands together nervously. Finally they seemed to be getting closer to some source of light...and just a hint of warmth? When they finally came to a halt, Lewis had been so busy looking for said source that he DID bump into the person walking in front of him - despite Bentley's warning. "Sorry." He muttered quietly, and took a quick step back.

Oh they had done this last year hadn't they? That tree, it looked familiar. It was something with D at the beginning. D...Dill? No, that was a cooking ingredient. Di- "Dittany?" Lewis offered, quite uncertain of his answer, but raising his hand nonetheless.
