Harlow had been out exploring the castle and the grounds, and now she was tired. It was hard work being this small and trying to climb up on things that were built for regular sized people.
She walked into the common room and looked around. There were a lot of new faces and she wanted to meet all of them she really did, but she was two seconds away from dropping where she stood. Harlow spotted Kennedy and she walked over to him.
He was sitting on the sofa and she climbed onto the couch and laid her head in his lap. The same way she would do her dad after he got home from work. "Hi Kennedy," she yawned slipping her thumb into her mouth.
Kennedy was kind of dozing off when he felt something on his lap. He looked down and smiled.
"Hello there, Harlow," he said. She reminded him of a child.
D'aaw!
Now, wasn't that cute. That made him sound like a complete softy, but it was the TRUTH. And then she... she looked like a BABY. Kennedy patted her head like his mom would when he was younger.
"How's the beginning of the term treating you?" he asked.

Something at the back of his head was telling him that someone was looking his way. Kennedy slightly turned his head away from the Adorable!Harlow and saw that his instincts were correct.

She seemed somewhat familiar, but he had to admit it; he didn't know her. So, he smiled and waved back.
