Ariella glanced around at everyone the classroom spouting off answers. They all seemed to know why there wasn't a lot of light in the greenhouse. So why was it that she was struggling with the first question of one of her best classes? How Professor Bentley was describing sounded quite a lot like Devil's Snare. But that is one of the most dangerous magical plants. Why would they be keeping it in the Herbology greenhouse? She sighed softly and raised her hand, hoping not to make a complete fool of herself and to at least earn a few points for Gryffindor.

"I'm not positive, Professor Bentley, but the ivy sounds a lot to me like the Devil's Snare. It might not be the exact plant, but could it possibly be a relative of it?" A relative? How lame could she sound. Plants didn't have brothers and sisters. She mentally kicked herself and lowered her hand subconsciously. "I'm pretty sure the Devil's Snare despises light. If it is the Devil's Snare, or at least a plant similar to it, it doesn't need sunlight to thrive, unlike most plants."
