The long list for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards were released today by BAFTA, where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 were recognised in 11 categories, including Outstanding British Film, and a supporting actor long-list for Alan Rickman as Severus Snape. Several Harry Potter actors are long-listed for works they did outside the series, including Ralph Fiennes (Coriolanus), Gary Oldman (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Brendan Gleeson (The Guard), Peter Mullan (*Tyrannosaur), Jim Broadbent (The Iron Lady), Kenneth Branagh (My Week With Marilyn), Zoe Wanamaker (My Week With Marilyn), and John Hurt (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy). The final nominations will be announced on Tuesday, January 17th; the ceremony will take place in London on February 12, 2012.
