Standing up she walked over to them. "You're from New Zealand as well aren't you?" she asked. She didn't mean to be nosy, but those were two words that she'd always remember after growing up in New Zealand after her fathers death.

And then another girl joined their conversation and asked about New Zealand. Was the name Kiora a very New Zealand sounding name? Kurumi wasn't familiar with the country at all to know, but many people had guessed her Japanese heritage based on her name and her obviously Asian features.

"It means hello in maori, the language of those native to New Zealand, though it's used by almost everyone in the area I live in..."

As well? New Zealand was a small country, Quentin didn't think anyone else would be from there.

She nodded along to Prue's explanation, that proved it- she was a kiwi as well, "What part of New Zealand are you from?" maybe they were from around the same part, it was a small place and for all she knew they could have met before but not remember. Probably not though, it may have been small compared to others but it was still quiet large to those who knew nothing else.

"I guess I still haven't broken the habit of occasionally speaking in moari." she smiled at Kurumi, "Quentin Kingsbury, I just moved from New Zealand."
