She took a peek back into her telescope to see that it still hadn't moved very much. "Seeing as meteors move very quickly in the Earth's atmosphere...I don't think that we are looking at one of those." She tapped the lens and cast the spell once more. "I think...we are looking at a comet!"
August listened to Kurumi as she started spouting off Astronomy information that he had been completely oblivious to. He had had no idea meteors and shooting stars were different things.
Or that there was no such thing as a shooting star. He would have to tell his mother this who always told him to make a wish when he saw one.
While she was talking he had risen his head from the lens to look at her and then make the note of the meteor stuff when she said it was a comet. He gasped and quickly jammed his eye back into the lens.
"Comets are big deals Kurumi, what do we do?!" he said flailing his arms excitedly, his face still glued to the telescope opening.
"Should we like....name it?" he added quietly as he watched it move across the dark.
