Waddle. Waddle. Waddle.
Beatrice waddled all the way from the Ravenclaw Common Room into the Observatory. She didn't want to stare at the stars just yet, it would just ignite dead flames of memories inside her and she did not want that.
However, when it's your first week back to the castle, you'll be tempted to gaze at the marvelous skies that the telescopic views from the Observatory at the Astronomy Tower has to offer.
And that was the reason she was here, she was tempted to the point that she's even waddling as she went.
Ignoring all other people inside the circular room, Beezus paced quickly into the nearest small telescope that she could see and immediately adjusted its lenses and objectives so she could already catch sight of the stars.
"A bit to the left..and a bit more.." She muttered as she was turning the objectives of the telescope so she could take a better look. She already found some set of stars that seemed to be forming a constellation yet it was still a bit blurred to she continued on adjusting it.
After what seemed like half an hour, Beatrice managed to see what she wanted to catch a glimpse of, a
constellation. It was just a very simple constellation that shaped a very simple polygon, not to mention that it was mainly made up of faint stars.
She didn't know what it was called so she leaned away from the telescope and went over to look at the Constellation Chart.. After surveying it, she found out that the constellation was named Lupus.
"Lupus.." She made sure she would remember it, since it was the first constellation she saw when she got back.
After eyeing the chart one more time, Beatrice returned to where the telescope she's using was and looked into it one last time. Lupus, help me this term, she said in her mind. After returning the telescope to its rightful place, she eyed the other students around. Almost all of them are busy looking at their telescopes and surely, they were all having fun.
Just as she was about to go, her eyes caught a certain pair of Gryffindor students. She didn't know who the boy was but she certainly knew the female. Slowly, she strode over to where they were holding their stargazing. "
Prefect Hollingberry. Good evening." She greeted the Prefect when she got near. "
And good evening to you too." Beatrice also greeted and nodded at the other lion. But once she looked at the sky, she figured that it was a bit late and she was also feeling a bit sleepy now, so..
"I really would love to hang around guys, but I'm kinda tired so see you around tomorrow!" She said in a rather fast manner. Hey, she was really sleepy now.
With a yawn, she went out of the Observatory.
