He liked sharing his candy, believe it or not. Mostly because he knew he could always get more. And plus if he was going to spend the next seven terms with this guy he should at least share his candy with him. "No problem, bro. Just let me know if you want more." Yeah that was nice right?
Asher shook.... Sammy's hand. "Nice to meet you, Sammy." That was a very easy name to remember. He like that. Yeah everyone goes after the sugar quills right. They are just the candy to make friends with Or makeup with your girlfriend. He took the bag back and threw back into his trunk.

Sammy nodded looking at Asher. "Yeah...I know one in Gryffindor." Almost everyone else he'd met was a girl. Then someone else came in and joined in their conversation (Nikolas). Sammy turned to look at the boy."Good. I thought I was going crazy or something."
He nodded at the older boy. "Yeah it's pretty nice." Sam turned back to Asher as he bit into the sugar quill. "Thanks man. I've gone through my whole supply already and my cousin won't send me anymore." It kinda sucked, but that was an easy punishment compared to what he usually got.
Sam took a big bite out of the sugar quill when the door opened again. It was Hades. "Hey Hades. This is Asher." He figured he might as well introduce the other first year who had been kind enough to share his candy. He was going to introduce the other boy...but realized he didn't know his name. He was glad when the boy spoke up. Nikolas. That was easy enough to remember.
