Deciding to just play along, Dallin crouched down by her slowly and held out a piece of bread. "Duck," he called quietly, leaning forward a little and waving the bread, trying to get the duck's attention. "Duuuuck, come heeeere," There were a few other ones eating the bread... this one should be feeling left out by now. It should want to know what it was missing out on.
Oh, good. Dallin had joined her on the ground. Ellie grinned as he started calling for the duck. N'aww, he was being such a good sport. Ellie didn't know if he actually liked the ducks as much as she did, but if he didn't, he was doing a good job at pretending.
Waving more bread at the duck, Ellie watched it as it apprehensively made it's way over there. Ellie's eyes widened with excitement.
"Dallinlookhereitcomes!" She whispered excitedly. But the duck heard her and stopped, looking around. Ellie clamped a hand over her mouth to shush herself and held back a giggle. Gollywaffles, this was fun.
