Althea eyed the flower that was suddenly in her hand and then examined the young girl in front of her.

"I shall start by educating you right now." She paused and then, because she was almost in a good mood, and it really WAS a nice flower... "Turn around and go back to your common room, change into your uniform and into sensible shoes immediately. If you're fast, I won't take points on your return, and you won't have too much to catch up on either."

Paaaaause.

"And thank you for the flower."

"Alright everyone. We'll start with a brief introduction into charms." The basic stuff, but she'd skip through it quickly.

"First years, what do you know about Charms? All other students, what do you think new students should know about this subject?"

Alyssa thought for awhile before raising her hand to answer."Professor, I think that the new students should know what Charms are used for and what is the difference between charms and spells, curses, jinxes and hexes."
