Well now she knew the kid's name was Oakey ... unusual name. And that he was a third year. SO that was some information, which was better than none at all. Even though she knew the kid could barely talk she said "I'm Sammy by the way, sixth year" and she was obviously in Hufflepuff because they had come form the common room. DUH!
Oa-Oakey was all he could say before he turned his attention back to the chair/bucket, and let some more candy fall from his mouth into it. He looked into the bucket. If he didn't know where this candy came from, this would probably be the most beautiful sight. A bucket full of candy, who wouldn't want that?
