And then he heard quacking. Alec spun round and blinked at the sight in front of him. Ducks? Well, it looked like it was more of a duck pond but that was more or less the same thing. These kind of surprises weren't bad at all. He could definitely get used to this.
Grinning, Alec strolled over and sat down on the rocky ledge. He took off his shoes and socks and dipped his feet into the cold water. There! Now he could relax! All he needed was someone to talk to and then he'd be fine! Anya was busy once again wandering around. She still needed to find the perfect kite spot for her date appointment with Alec. She was quickly running out of time... mostly because she kept getting distracted by random things.

Ohhh! Duck pond!
Forgetting all about kites for a second she rushed forward like a madmanwoman small child. She knelt down next to the pond and was tempted to start duck calling.
Except, she looked around first and noticed her very favorite blonde.
"Alec! Look! There's ducks!"
And there was also that rude boy she meet over the summer. What was that kid doing? She eyed him for a second and then turned back to the pond.
