Yeah, I agree. Dogs are too loud and messy. Cats were so cuddly and warm! Much better than dogs. Well, Tahnee had never had a dog, so you could say she was a bit biased, but oh well.

Lucky! Tahnee exclaimed. Her parents hadn't let her get an owl- that was the pet she had originally wanted. They didn't think she had enough 'responsibility' to deal with an owl, pshhft. If she wanted to send letters, she had to use the school owls. She hadn't been to the Owlery yet, but she'd heard it was up really high in one of the towers and she wasn't exactly looking forward to a massive climb.
