Thomas jumped when someone else stuck their beak in (no pun intended) and started yelling at the young Hufflepuff boy. The frown was back on Thomas's face in an instant and he turned to look at her.
“You mind not bein' so blaady loud?” He snapped, narrowing his eyes on her. Merlin, was she trying to scare the life out of him?
He wasn't doing it the right way? How else did people catch ducks? The boy's accent was strange to him so he figured he must come from the country or something where they cooked ducks for dinner. Perfect, since he let his duck get away maybe he could catch one for him.

A trap huh? Well I don't know how to set traps, but since you let me duck get away you should set one for me."
He frowned too. He wanted to look at them..and maybe get a feather or two but why did country boy want them? Not to cook surely...O.o
"I want to look at them and I want some feather...don't eat him when you catch it." She eyed him seriously.

Leave the defenceless ducks alone? And what exactly was he doing to these..defenceless ducks? All he wanted to do was catch them and look at them.Why was loony screaming at him and acting like he was going to kill the ducks or something? Ugh, girls were just so dramatic.
And then she was in the water and heading towards him. He looked behind him, maybe someone else was in the pond because she couldn't seriously be coming towards him now could she?
