Caelyn had a happy childhood, or as happy as a average childhood is; where she lived with her mother, father and brother in Paris. They were reasonably wealthy and Caelyn was never taught the value of money and was quite spoiled. Her parents were very knowledgeable and powerful wizarding folk and taught her the basics of magic from a very young age. Her mother was a very paranoid person when it came to her children, so she wanted them to be 100% protected at all times. And this was her way of doing that.

Caelyn was ten years old when her mother was killed in a hit and run incident. It devastated the family and because her father could not cope with Caelyn anymore, he carted her off to boarding school. To Beauxbatons Academy, to be precise. Caelyn spent two years at this school, where she had no friends, and no social skills. She was teased for wearing glasses, and for having a very 'I don't care' attitude when it came to her appearance. Not to mention, she was also branded a 'freak' for being a bit of a weirdo at times... It did not help her to move on from her mother's death. When she finished her second year at the school, she begged her father to leave due to severe bullying. After much persuasion, he agreed and signed her up for Hogwarts instead. It meant a massive move from Paris to England, but she didn't mind so much. Change was good in her opinion. Sometimes. Despite her happiness to leave this school, she was still rather nervous about joining a new one. She feared it would all happen again.

Shortly after her move to London, Caelyn decided that a change in appearance would be a good idea. She got contacts, a haircut, and a new wardrobe. She vowed from that moment on; No more freaky Caelyn.

First meeting Caelyn, you will find that she is not some shy, awkward outcast, unless he is talking to a boy, but a person with quite a forward personality. She will often tell things how they are and laugh it off with her regular giggle fits. However, if someone decided to criticize her in return,s he gets very guarded and angry, then finding herself needing to prove that he is actually awesome. Basically, if she isn't angry with someone, he is a bouncy, energetic and sometimes eccentric person.

Caelyn is an easy going child most of the time. Although she is often accident prone and sometimes thought to lack critical thinking skills, she is nevertheless brave in the face of danger and can be very resourceful and clever. Her major character flaw is her pride, which causes her to take unnecessary risks to show others that she can succeed in things that she probably can't.

Once you have spoken to Caelyn for a while, you will discover that she is weird, and doesn't think about things in the same ways as others would. Being naturally funny, and knowing it, Caelyn isn't worried about making friends at Hogwarts, however, she has had quite a secluded lifestyle up until now, so she may struggle with it. Caelyn is very exuberant, and in her words, rather fabulous. She tends to keep her true feelings bottled up, as in, she would rarely shout in someone's face if they annoyed her. She would usually just smile, nod, and walk away. However if she were REALLY annoyed... she might get a bit psycho on you. Throughout her life, Caelyn was always described as a freak for the weird things she'd come out with. Bad experiences at Beauxbatons has knocked her confidence massively, but if she was to settle at Hogwarts, it wouldn't take long to come back.

She is very mellow and quite free-spirited, most of the time. She likes sunshine, books, dancing and cold weather. Also, bubblegum is something that should be restricted with her BUT IT ISN'T. She always has it and it makes her super hyper.

First meeting Caelyn, you may think that she is very self-obsessed. Since being teased in Beauxbatons, she felt it was important to put yourself in front of everyone else. But with friends, she is very kind hearted and generous. Overall, you can never be certain about what she will be like with you when you meet her, one day she could be shy and sweet, the next she could be jumping about and in your face. Multiple personalities, ya see.
