No sooner had she returned to Hogwarts that Ari received a letter from her mum urging her to get plenty of fresh air. Hmph. Her mum was sure Ari was going to bury herself under a pile of books in the library, which, to be honest, was exactly the Gryffie's first thought. But she didn't even have homework yet, so she decided to follow her mum's advice for once.
The lake and surrounding area were too crowded, so she headed in a different direction. Ariadne spotted something that looked like a vegetable garden and went closer. 'Any tomatoes over there?' she asked the other girl, realizing too late that she might have startled her. Like Gwen had said, Ari couldn't greet people like a normal person.
Sidestepping onto one plant to the other, this seemed like the happiest ever.
And then she heard someone called onto her, well, not her name but Erin was very sure, the call was addressed to her. She was the only person around. Or else, there was someone, someone who was unseen.
"Hey! You like tomatoes?" asked Erin from afar.
"I hate them!" Why would she loved them? They're so red. They looked like Mum's pimples when Erin's little sister was in her womb.
