Eliza made her way to the Common Room. The Slytherin Common Room to be precise. Even more precise HER Common Room. The Common Room she would have for the next seven years. It was beautiful, there was a huge fireplace and a general greeny glow about the room. Everywhere you looked there was the Slytherin emblem, one of Eliza's favourite symbols in the world. She felt at home, after all the decor didn't differ too much from her own home. For a moment that excitement flashed through her face, that she was at Hogwarts, that she was in Slytherin and that she was a witch. This was going to be so awesome. She let the moment pass and arranged her face into her signature, elegant, nonchalant, I-am-the-best kind of smile and settled herself on a long sofa.
Tahnee stepped into the common room with a look of awe on her face. Wow. She was really here. Her brother had told her stories from his time at Hogwarts and now she was actually there! She couldn't believe her eyes. The common room looked even better than Daniel had made it sound. She could see fish swim by the windows and the crackling fireplace made the room seem even nicer.
Coming in closer, she noticed a girl who looked about her age- but much more confident- sitting on one of the cushy looking sofas. Tahnee walked closer and sank into a couch across from the girl.
Hi, she said, smiling widely at the girl. It was hard to contain her excitement of being at Hogwarts!
