He wandered up to the entrance hall and made his way to the hourglasses. Obviously they were empty, since term hadn't even begun yet, but he was pretty sure this was the first time since he'd been here that there weren't any NEGATIVE points on the board. WHOA. Call the Prophet! He paused and looked at them just a bit longer, trying to visualize what the Hufflepuff hourglass would look like if it was full. Not that he'd ever gotten a chance to see it that way...
Harlow was gleeful. That was the only word to describe how she was feeling. She was finally going through puberty. Finally she was going to get to wear makeup and high heeled shoes and bras! She was especially looking forward to that right of passage.
She was leaning the Great Hall heading out to check on Appa when she spotted someone looking at the Hour Glass.
"Pretty isn't it." she commented. Harlow bounced on the toes a little in glee.

As he approached the things he noticed there was another student already there, probably noticing the same thing. Wait...that was Alex Greingoth. "Hey Alex, day-dreaming of a day Hufflepuff could beat Gryffindor for the House Cup?" he teased with a mischevious grin. He wasn't usually one for trash talking but he had been hanging out with Selina Skylar too much.
She turned to the sound of a familier voice.
"Oh hullo August." she said happily waving at her old friend.
"Wouldn't it be more like the day Hufflepuff or Gryffindor can beat Slytherin?" she asked curiously.
