The embarrassment was somewhat apparent on Taryn's face and it made Auggie feel bad to talk about something she had so obviously not been completely partial to.

Like he had thought before, it was Tori who had written the letter and he wasn't really weirded out by it. He knew Taryn was more...descrete than that.

"Only a gift from Princess Bunbury, I understand." he said sitting down beside her and patting her knee as he looked out at the ducks on the pond. "You would like to go with me there sometime though right?" he asked smally.
