When she heard her name being called in a very familiar tone, the now third year shifted closer to the person speaking, none other than Kurumi.
'Hey.' she greeted back cheerfully, smiling broadly when the older girl said she'd missed her. '
I've missed you too. I've had an interesting summer, but I couldn't keep in touch with anyone, I've practically lived like an average Muggle for months.' she admitted.
'Anyway, what's new with you?' Ariadne asked, trying to cover the sounds made by her starving stomach. Luckily, the headmaster's speech started shortly, which meant food would be there soon. Keeping quiet during the speech, Ari moved her hands excitedly at the news (for her, at least), that they would be celebrating 1000 years of Hogwarts. Wicked!

So...Bentley's our new Head of House?' she asked Kurumi, after the general noise had died down and people, herself included, were helping themselves to Kurumi's delicious cookies.

'Honestly, looking for me in the middle? You know better than that, I'm not so sociable.' she chuckled, attacking the plate of food in front of her.
She didn't need to ask Gwen much about her summer, since they have visited each other a lot and written to each other while Ariadne had been stranded in Muggle France. Somehow, the only person she had been allowed to contact had been Gwendolyn, which made sense, really.
'So, tell me something I don't know.' Ari grinned, eager to find out what Gwen had been up to.
