And shopping! Seren definitely approved.
"Oh good good! there's nothing more satisfying than a new pair of gloves. I take it you'll be all set and ready for classes then?" Ravenclaws usually were.
A cheeky smile lifted up the corners of her lips. Her holiday? ... yes it was magical.

"Um...congradulations Professor Bentley," offering the woman a genuine smile despite him seeming hesitant. Granted he would miss the librarian but the herbology professor was a favorite of his own as well. If it was indeed true, he would look forward to working with her for certain.
Watching the odd expression on Gideons face as he seemed to process her exchange with Kurumi, Seren held her breathe. Was she about to be rejected like snakegrass in a bed of chinese chomping cabbages?
.... no... it appeared she wasn't.
Allowing herself to inhale and exhale normally, she returned Gideons smile.
"Thank you dear, I'm rather looking forward to this year. Hopefully I'll do Gryffindor justice."
