While Jade's stomach continued to growl, she heard that familiar voice behind her and she blushed. Why did Nikolas have to come when her stomach growled? How embarassing. She kissed him back and smiled once he sat down next to her. "I really am. I had to sit on the train with this other girl while she downed an entire peanut butter sandwich. You have no idea how hungry I am." She said, leaning her head on his shoulder. It was like torture seeing that girl eat the sandwich and she couldn't even have one bite. Meh. "But I've been alright. Did you hear about the weird girl getting to be one of the Slytherin prefects?" She asked, rolling her eyes at the thought of it. It was going to be a terrible year with that girl around patrolling the halls.
"Anyways, I have some good news." The brunette said, taking her head off of his shoulder. "My parents aren't going to get a divorce! So that means that soon enough we probably don't have to keep the secret from them." She said, giving a big smile. Obviously she was happy about it, but then again her parents always seemed to change their mind all the time.
Nikolas was hungry too, but he could wait a little longer...or so he thought. He chuckled at Jade's comment "
You should have asked her to give you a piece of it" he suggested "
Don't worry, the food should be here in no time" he said a bit unsure, Tate hasn't given the speech yet. And there was Sel again in their conversations, "
Yeah...I heard about it" he nodded "
She is gonna talk about it all day long I can imagine that in the common room" which was not a good thing. "
Excited to see her?" he asked sarcastically.
Good news? He didn't know what to expect and was excited to hear them. "
Really? What is it about?" he asked. No divorce? Perfect. Now everything was working for them. "
That is perfect! Now let's hope they don't change their mind" about the divorce of course.
