This kid was actually adorable. He resisted the urge to roll his eyes and laugh at him, because that would hardly solve anything, but the smirk was there on his face.
"If you're not ready...then that means you don't truly belong there." Wink.
Aaaaaand, now he laughed.
"That's actually great. I don't mean to scare you at all." Which was awfully true. He didn't mean for that to happen. GRANTED, some respect was wanted...see the badge? "I'm Treyen, by the way."
The smirk on the boys face only served to agitate him even more. It didn't see what was so amusing. Maybe it was the fact that he was so short. He could fix that.
Tye pushed the students sitting on the bench apart and stood on it, now he was almost level with Treyen's face. Yeah this was better.
"
If I'm not ready, it just means I'm not ready to go over there yet." He looked over at the Slytherin table and sighed. Why didn't the stupid old hat just place him there in the first place?
He finally noticed the badge on the boy's chest and smiled a little. Aha! Now that they were almost eye level he had to listen to him and take him to get resorted.
"Sure sure, you didn't want to...but see, you're a head boy, which means they'll have to listen to you. Take me to get resorted." He hopped off the bench and grabbed Treyen's hand and started tugging on it. Move it move it.
"Thats a funny name." He tilted his head and looked at him.
"My name is Tye. Just Tye." He finished with a curt nod.
