Never once had he been summoned by the Department Head to his office. After he returned from his lunch break however, Dean saw a piece of parchment left on his desk. He was surprised to see that the note was left by Evander Bole, Head MLE, that the man wanted to see him in his office if Dean was free. Since he had just finished all the paperworks, the patrol officer came immediately to the the Department Head's office. Dean was worried despite appearing calm. Did he do anything wrong? Was he fired?
As soon as he reached Mr Bole's office, Dean made sure his dressing was neat. Tightening his neck tie, shirt tucked in, nothing on his coat... He took a deep breath and with one hand firmly holding the note, Dean knocked the office door with his other hand thrice. |
