Ah, the question he was bound to hear a hundred times in the coming weeks. "
I'm not sure yet. Now that I'm back at Hogwarts, I'll have to talk to Professor Vindictus about that and schedule some time." Wait, she probably doesn't know him. "
That's the Flying and Quidditch Professor," he amended hastily. "
Why? You interested?" he asked, genuinely curious.

"Makes sense, Mister Keefer," she replied, her lips curling into somewhat of a smirk. "What's your last name?" she asked, wondering of his...blood affiliation. She might as well make a friend if she had to do this dare. She couldn't WAIT to return to her table and KILL Caelius. Stupid boy.
She could see the look of confusion on his face, and she chuckled.
"I'm not joking," she said, lifting her eyebrow a bit. She wasn't!
"Marius. Keefer Oswald Marius, to be precise. You may have heard the last name, since my family have been wizards as far back as I know. But that's not super important to me.[/B]"
He paused. She was serious? Maybe he'd better lock the door to the dormitory at night.. "
Oh. Well, good luck with your quest, then!"
Mental note: move to Africa upon Elliot's graduation.

There was something Treyen forgot to ask on the train, since he'd been too focused on the badge the other Hufflepuff boy had. "How was your summer, Keefer?" The train rarely gave enough time for everyone to discuss their summer properly. Or future plans for that matter. He'll have to finish that conversation with Kurumi some other time.
"
It was excellent! Besides the Quidditch business, I spent a lot of time caring for all the Abraxans." And by all he meant all 400-some on the ranch. "
We had several newborns, so they were a lot to handle. But it's extremely satisfying, watching them grow up and learn."

No, this wasn't reversed psychology. "I actually agree with you. I don't think you're a Hufflepuff." Why, he was such a charming Head Boy.
Keefer suppressed a smile at Treyen's words to the new Hufflepuff girl. She had been getting on his nerves as well, but he didn't think it was his place to say anything to her. He nodded his silent approval to Treyen.
