OWLs. Kurumi's face sort of brightened at the thought of those. All last term she had been helping Jonathan prepare for those and was super eager to be able to take them herself. "
Well, there is plenty of time to study before those come," she nodded. Well, not really, at least not to Kurumi. They were only MONTHS away now as opposed to years. "
Enjoy the feast!" And Kurumi continued her way down the table.

Away from his siblings. He was probably fine, Ronnie was a good owner.
"
Alright as well," Kurumi smiled. More than alright really, but seeing as Rose hadn't gone into much detail about her summer it would be silly for her to do the same. "
France! That is one lucky kitten...and would explain why I don't see Ronnie here," Kurumi continued as she looked the table up and down.

"
Nice to meet you too, Logan," Kurumi smiled, bending at the knees for a small bow. She would shake his hand...but she had a giant box in her hands at the moment. Her eyes flicked towards the staff table where...a new professor and Professor Bentley had made there appearance. No Headmaster yet, which meant there was still plenty of time to mingle. "
Will this be your first year?"

Box still in her arms, Kurumi smiled in Gideon's direction. She hadn't seen him at all on the train
which probably was due to Kurumi trying to turn temporary spy on a certain two professors. "
Not sure unleash is the proper term, but something like that," she laughed as she continued to waddle her way down the table.
SPOILER!!: the girl with the spiffy name :D

Was she one of the whacha-mah-call-it's then that Tasia had briefly read about? Perfects....no, Prefects?
Wait. What was this bowing? Blinking, Tasia glanced a little nervously at the others. She hadn't remembered reading about any bowing in Hogwartian customs, but then there were a lot of customs she couldn't really claim to know. Rising a little, she returned the bow as best as she could. Was there no hand shaking here? Oh wait, that's right, her hands were full.
"Tasia...Mirakos." Her eyes flicked to the table before she started, shoving a few dishes to the side. "Here...that looks...heavy?" Or light. It was hard to tell what with the shape and composition of the box.
Kurumi felt her fingers slipping just a bit on the box and managed to readjust just in time to prevent it from crashing to the table. That would have been terrible! Most likely the box's cookie contents would have broken into small sugary bits and it would have looked like a complete massacre. Lion heads and paws everywhere among a sea of red frosting. What a horrible thought.
Shivering just for a moment, Kurumi tried to get the image out of her head and was able to do so when the girl in front of her bowed back. The gesture brought a small smile to the prefect's face. "
Lovely to meet you Tasia," she chirped. Oh good, they HADN'T met before. Seeing that a place had been cleared, Kurumi set the box down and immediately began shaking her arms to loosen the muscles. She really should have just charmed the box like she had down last term. She blamed this serious lack of judgement on being excited about the term
and her upcoming OWLs "
Thank you. It got to be a bit heavier than I thought. I think I overdid things just a bit." As usual.
It was now that Kurumi took a proper look at the tableware. Oh GOOD! Things were clean and as they should be. That meant that she didn't have to worry about the house elves this term and that the kitchens would be open. Yep...she had a really REALLY good feeling about this term.

Sharing was caring after all.
So when she commented on Selina's holding up the fort she nodded and said, "Yes, ma'am. And holding up the fort is a busy job. I'm famished..." Cookies, cookies, cookies, cookies, cookies!
Just then she turned to her left and saw Gideon plop down beside her. She smiled at him and teased back, "Yeah its been ages. Where have you been all these years, Gid?" Then her eyes slowly drifted back to the box.... COOKIES!
Ma'am? Wasn't that how Selina addressed Dragon Lady? Kurumi sort of wrinkled her nose for a moment before placing her hand on top of her box. She coooooooooould open it up now, but she sort of wanted to wait until more lions had arrived, especially all those newly sorted ones. After all, this welcoming feast was a very big part of their first impression of the school.
Didn't mean that she could totally ignore Selina's eyes salivating all over the box. "
Well, hopefully you will be getting something in your tummy soon," she teased.
