Vlimia smiled through her tears.
"Why would I be offended? I have been saying the same thing for years." She hiccuped, patting Lilly on the back.
"It was wrong of me to lose my temper like that while making a point - I would make a horrible politician." Vlim said, wiping her salty tears away. She didn't want to ask Lilly why she was crying - it was probably the aforementioned 'worse thing'.
"It will be okay, you'll get over it. Trust me, you will." Vlim comforted the girl. She didn't need to know what was wrong to know that it would be fine, one day. Maybe they could be friends... they seemed to have a lot in common; short tempers, the ability to cry, sad events in their life, etc.
