She always woke up when Jared came toward her with his wand outstretched, ready to kill her too. Des always said dreams meant something, but Jez had laughed it off. Dreams were just your imagination running wild, right? Her mind moved to Pam's dreams, which had been frighteningly real in the Room of Requirement, but she pushed the disobedient thought away. Dreams were nothing but a way of tormenting her.
Nate shifted so he was square to Jez and looked deep into her eyes with his piercing blue ones. "Tell me," he said softly and seriously. Nobody had anything to hide from Nate. Did they? They ought not to have, he was not only always there for them, but he was just as much of a target as them. Well, Jez and Pam at least. He really needed Jez to start telling him more, otherwise he would never be able to get past her wall, or so he felt.
